Brother Sergio showed up at our house on the second Tuesday of January. After several hours of lugging, dragging and lifting, the moving truck was packed…no, make that stuffed with our belongings.
Three days and many miles later,
we arrived at our rental house in Comitan, Chiapas.
It is a two-story, 3 bedroom house with a garage and no yard.
Unpacking was hard.
We missed our nephews, friends and neighbors
from San Antonio de las Alazanas! Thankfully, brother Carlos (the youth pastor at Bethesda Baptist) and several teens from the church, helped
with the heavy lifting.
There’s no doubt. We miss our home and family in Coahuila, Northern Mexico.
But, we are also excited about what lies in store for us here in Chiapas!
