In mid-December, we travelled to Chiapas
to bring a few larger pieces of furniture and rent a house. Several pastors from home

We attend Bethesda Bible Baptist Church in Comitan. This church averages about 200 on Sundays, has 7 missions, 9 home Bible studies and services every day of the week. Pastor Roman Morales (pictured right, red shirt, center) has a vision for souls and discipleship that dwarfs his diminutive stature.
One of the many eye-popping sights around our current home.
Stephen is engaging a fierce battle with school, reading and dyslexia. He loves LEGOs, exploring and getting out of school.
Annette (16) is very independently finishing 11th grade.
Cesia is a little more reluctant in her 9th grade work.
Both girls are involved in the church’s youth group and church music.

Andrew drove to the country of El Salvador
with Pastor Roman. There is much need in that country and many pastors asked for us to return with teaching materials.

Food here is AWESOME!
For example, in the local market,
a giant quesadilla stuffed full of cheese and fajitas?
$30 pesos = less than 2 dollars!

We went to help with a Kids Bible Club a few days ago in the city of San Cristobal. The Club was great! Andrew got to teach a Bible lesson, Egla and the girls taught Bible choruses and verses However, the altitude was too high for Andrew. His fingernails started turning blue and his oxygen saturation plummeted. We were thankful that it was nothing worse than a headache and severe vertigo.
Thank you for praying for us as we serve!
